At The Physio Movement all of our clinicians are registered providers within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Townsville and provide both hands on treatment and exercise prescribed rehabilitation to people with a permanent disability, where that disability impacts the management of daily wellness and activities.
At TPM our aim is to enable NDIS patients to participate more in the community and to achieve their personal goals.
What are my requirements for Exercise Physiology under the NDIS?
To be eligible for fully funded Exercise Programs under the NDIS at the Physio Movement you will need to be:
- Local to Townsville or the surrounding areas
- Under the age of 65
- Hold an Australian residency
- Need support from a carer to do everyday things for yourself due to an impairment or condition that is likely to be permanent

Our in house Exercise Physiologist has a very welcoming personality and works closely with NDIS patients from an array of conditions and age variances- including children. In addition to our modern clinic and private gym facilities, we also offer Hydrotherapy sessions at Kokoda Pool when required.
