Welcome Dr Jayden Meyer
We’re excited to welcome Dr. Jayden Meyer to the TPM Chiropractic team in Townsville. With a unique background and a genuine passion for helping others, Jayden brings a well-rounded and highly personalised approach to chiropractic care.
Jayden’s journey into healthcare began after a teenage basketball injury introduced him to the benefits of chiropractic care. Experiencing firsthand how effective treatment could be, not just for pain relief, but for overall wellbeing planted the seed for a future career.
Before pursuing chiropractic studies, Jayden served for nearly five years in the Royal Australian Navy, where discipline, structure, and service shaped his character. Wanting a more personal connection in his work and a role where he could make a difference in people’s lives every day, Jayden was drawn back to his early experience with chiropractic – and the rest is history.
Jayden completed his Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic) and Bachelor of Clinical Chiropractic at Murdoch University in Perth, graduating in 2021. His ongoing education includes advanced training in Dry Needling and Inspiral Paediatrics, expanding his toolkit to support a wider range of patients from young children to active adults.
Jayden’s clinical focus is on functional outcomes, helping patients move better, feel stronger, and live without the limitations of pain. He blends traditional chiropractic techniques with soft tissue therapy, muscle energy work, rehab guidance, and dry needling to treat conditions like:
Persistent back and neck pain
Muscle tightness and postural dysfunction
Sports-related injuries
Headaches and joint stiffness
He believes in evidence-informed care and working with patients to reach their individual health and performance goals.
Outside of TPM, Jayden is just as active as his patients. He plays AFL for the Hermit Park Tigers, enjoys camping with his wife and two dogs, and is passionate about slow-cooked barbecue especially perfecting his skills on the Weber. Originally from Carnarvon, WA, he loves any chance to head back home and reconnect with his roots.
