Sleep more
Make sure you sleep 8 hours per night and keep it consistent. Sleeping too little can cause your body to lose water, muscle and other tissue, instead of fat. Decreased sleep will also slow down your metabolism and also affect ghrelin levels that will boost your appetite.
Drink plenty of water
As this will fill you up, flush the system, help digest foods and keep the body working efficiently.
Eat lots of vegetables
This will fill you up, mixing colours with plenty of healthy greens.
Don’t skip breakfast
If your mornings are rushed prepare the night before. This will stop you snacking later and give you energy for the day. Skipping breakfast can slow your metabolism as the body tries to conserve energy.
Eat healthy fats
Including avocados and coconut oil that will give your brain power and keep you alert. By consuming healthy amounts of ‘good’ fats the body wont have an excuse to hold onto existing fats.
Slow down
Chew each mouthful 20 times. Eat until 80% full as the feeling of fullness will take 20mins to come on.
Don’t deprive yourself of food or rely on fad diets
