Kiara grew up in Cairns and moved to Townsville to pursue a career of becoming a physiotherapist. Kiara graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at James Cook University in 2024. Kiara’s decision to work in this field was driven by her interest in the musculoskeletal system and her personal understanding of being injured as an athlete.
Kiara’s sporting background involves athletics, gymnastics, strength training and running. Despite being diagnosed with Popliteal artery entrapment syndrome in 2019, Kiara went on to win the 400m and place 3rd in the 800m sprints at the 2019 QLD Schools State Championships.
Through Kiara’s studies, she worked as a sports trainer within local sporting clubs, as well as several QLD Athletics State Championship events. Kiara has had the privilege of working with the NRLW Brisbane Broncos, where she provided manual therapy to professional athletes during their matches in Townsville.
Kiara obtains her dry needling qualification. Kiara looks forward to meeting each patient that comes into the clinic, and to help sort out their needs to ensure they have a speedy recovery process.
